Maia Arneson - Realtor/Broker
I love helping people. Acts of Service is my love language and I truly enjoy the process of helping others buy and sell homes so they can step forward into the next adventure that life holds for them.
I have been in real estate for over fifteen years. My husband and I have owned residential and commercial spaces for lease and, in 2016, I began representing buyers, sellers, and renters.
For sellers, it is important to select an agent who has the knowledge to properly price your home to acquire offers, the negotiating skills to engage a buyer and excellent proactive communication to guide the transaction to closing. Hiring the proper agent when you first put your home on the market will help you gain the best ROI for your home. If your home is listed and sitting on the market, you could benefit from my past success advising homeowners on how to properly market their home through their listing wording, pictures, pricing and staging; some have gone under contract the next week and sold within the month because of this advice.
As a buyer, you need an agent who understands your desires and has the determination and commitment to find the right home for you. I have spent full nights examining floorplans to find the proper space to fit my client’s unique needs. I have navigated difficult scenarios to ensure the transaction is most beneficial to my client.
Having experienced my husband's cross-country work relocation, I understand the dynamics of trying to select from afar an area of the city; comparing communities, home styles, schools, arts/entertainment, shopping areas etc. If you are moving to NC, since realtors are not allowed to steer you to specific areas to live, I can provide you with information to help you make a well informed decision.
While my business acumen will benefit you as my client, I enjoy getting to know and have become friends with many of my clients. I grew up a country bumpkin in Alaska and Seattle, ran track for the University of Arizona, and graduated with dual degrees in marketing and business management. Moving to the 6th largest city in the U.S., I appreciated the convenience and liveliness of city life in Phoenix. My faith, husband Matt, and our kids, Jed and Cahlea, are the top priorities in my life. We followed my husband’s career in land development to the east coast and have fallen in love with the Charlotte and Lake Norman area. I enjoy traveling and being outdoors, especially hiking, running, spending time on the water and competing in any sport.
I look forward to getting to know you, learning about your goals and serving your real estate needs.
