Established in 1991, Lake Realty has earned a reputation as a professional firm providing personal support to Buyers,
Sellers and fellow Realtors.
Our normal service area includes both Lake Norman, Lake
Wylie, Mountain Island Lake, Lake Hickory and the towns of Charlotte, Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville, Mooresville, Troutman,
Sherrills Ford, Catawba, Statesville, Concord, Kannapolis and Fort Mill.
We work with home sellers on marketing their
property and have a strong internet presence that provides year round
inquires from Buyers.
Our
Brokers are into helping our clients and making decisions and taking actions
based on being in the real estate industry for the long term. Our firm
is into supporting, training and helping our brokers so they can be in the
real estate business for the long term. Ask any of our clients or our Brokers on how we are doing in achieving both these goals
The Details
We pay 80% commission on the
net revenue from the closing.
Our Brokers can negotiate
the commission rate with a seller or a buyer.
We have optional floor duty.
Brokers who participate in floor duty are assigned leads from our internet lead
generation sites. Internet leads have a 25% referral
fee to support the continuation of the internet lead program. Walk-in
leads and call-in leads have no referral fee attached.
We have a weekly optional training meeting on Tuesday from
9:30-11:00AM. The meetings are informational and training in content.
The
only fee paid to Lake Realty is a monthly E&O insurance fee of $20.00
We have never had an E&O claim.
We have black
and white, color copiers and printers. We provide free long distance
and an incoming 800 number to each Broker. The copies and 800 phone
service is free of
charge as long as the use is routine. If you have to produce a large
mailing, etc, we ask that use an outside vendor.
We have our own real estate school - Free School of Real Estate.
CE and Broker Courses are discounted. If you have team members or
assistants who complete the 75 hour NC Real Estate Commission course, we will
reimburse the tuition from their first sale.
There is a nominal fee for
selling your own personal residence.
The brokers who perform
best at Lake Realty hold themselves personally accountable for their
activity. We offer all the support, advice and training needed, but we
require no minimum level of activity or reporting of such activity.
